John and Miguel in service went completly above and beyond! I'd lagged on getting my regular service due to extra heavy work schedule and I put ALOT of miles on my car. Called for an appointment but they were booked till next week. My sister is being deployed and the opportunity can up this week to spend the weekend with her in San Diego, an 800+ round trip for me with oil change lo g overdue.. No worries, I jumped at the chance to see her with my kids and booked an appointment at Midas even though I have a service contract at Hyundai. Midas says there is a problem with the oil pan plug and they can't do it and I should call the dealer. I called Capitol Hyundai service and spoke to John. Explained my urgency and that I was willing to pay extra if they could help me otherwise I wouldn't be certain the car was good to go. John and Miguel got me in and wouldn't take a dime! Top shelf service and big hearts. Will be updating this post with our family pic giving my sis the send off she's earned, thanks to these guys. Will not be buying cars anywhere else but Capitol Hyundai San Jose! The service and prices are the best anywhere!
I've been coming here for the last 4 years to service our Hyundai. The service team have been helpful by clearly explaining my car's service needs and providing the right amount of information to make my own decisions. Sean Rivera has been especially great to work. Really knowledgable, attentive and understanding.
I am happy to say that, in less than 24 hours, I was contacted by Tray Nichols,Service Manager at Capitol Hyundai. Tray went above and beyond to help me resolve the problem with my 2015 Hyundai Genesis. They provided me a loaner vehicle while they diagnosed and resolved the problem. It turned out to be a fuel control module, which was covered under warranty. I first thought of simply deleting my original review,however, decided this would be unfair to Capitol Hyundai, as it would still be in the minds of people who saw it and therefore not showing how it was resolved. I was treated with the same courtesy, which I had received when I originally purchased my car. It is my intention to return to Capitol Hyundai for my future service needs and I`m sure I will be happy with the results. Thanks Tray, Lowell Elliott
After purchasing an Elantra here back in 2015, we revisited this business to help us decide whether or not to purchase a new car. My daughter's Elantra had just peaked 100,000 miles and was in need of a repair. The staff was so accommodating and helpful and not at all pushy: knowing that we might decide to just keep her older car instead of leaving with a new car off their showroom floor, the staff talked over our options, helped us weigh the pros and cons, and supported my daughter in her decision to put off purchasing a new vehicle right now or taking another expensive option of buying an extended warranty. My daughter decided to spend money to get her car repaired and because of how thoughtful and non-coercive the people at DGDG were, we will definitely return when it is time to upgrade to a new car. We have purchased over 6 cars from DGDG in 14 years and have been treated justly and respectfully.
